Gian Paolo Amato

Investment analyst specialising in fixed income, equities and private equity. Adviser on financial planning and on the creation and management of international investment and asset holding structures. Previously, he worked as a Financial Adviser in the Global Wealth Management division at Merrill Lynch USA. In this role, he was responsible for managing investment portfolios and acquiring clients in South Florida. He also worked at an IT consultancy and technology platform provider, where he held various senior positions.

He joined Cluster Family Office in May 2009. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specialising in International Business and Trade, from Florida Atlantic University. He also holds a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Broward College, a Postgraduate Certificate in Wealth Management from the Institut d’Estudis Financers, and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Barcelona. He also completed the Investment Decisions and Behavioural Finance programme at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He is a university admissions consultant specialising in US universities.
