Alfonso Carrillo

He holds a Global Executive MBA from the University of Miami (USA) and has specialised in a range of areas, including corporate finance, business and intangible asset valuation, M&A, and corporate governance. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (Mexico).

He has 20 years’ experience in the financial sector, having held senior management positions at leading institutions such as GRUPO BITAL-HSBC, INVEX NAFINSA and GRUPO FINANCIERO CREMI, and has served as a director for 13 years. He has worked as an external adviser to leading global firms such as Baker & McKenzie, AON Risk Services and UBS. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Latin American Family Business Programme at the University of Miami. He has worked as a senior management adviser with One to One Corporate Finance and M Market M&A. He is a co-founder of Family Office Mexico and FOM Partners, representatives of Cluster Family Office Spain. He is a full member of the Centre of Excellence in Corporate Governance at the Universidad Anáhuac del Sur and Deloitte Touche.

He has served as president of the Guadalajara Chapter of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IFECOM) and as a member of its national committees. He is a director and advisory board member of major national and international companies, including Grupo Urrea Herramientas, amongst others. He has worked as a financial specialist at IFECOM. He has held the chair in Corporate Finance at ITESO, UP and ITESM in Guadalajara, Mexico.
