Someone to listen to my absurd ideas. I\u2019ve mentioned before that I like your posts, except when they try to elevate anecdotes about personal experiences related to your work to the status of something more significant. Of course, I like them more or less in proportion to how closely they align with my own way of seeing things \u2013 a similarity that\u2019s often striking and which, unfortunately, encourages me to write to you. I\u2019ve got no one to chat to about \u00abworries and wandering thoughts\u00bb, so I\u2019m using you as a sounding board \u2013 not for tears, but for thoughts of no real significance or value. Yes, I\u2019m a bit bored and short of leisure options \u2013 so much so that I\u2019m addressing myself in these terms to an HTML document of dubious aesthetic taste (just joking, it\u2019s actually really cool).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>To get straight to the point, I\u2019d like (politely \u2013 no demands) to ask for your opinion on an idea I can\u2019t get out of my head. According to the market consensus, this credit crunch \u2013 and everything that has gone with it and will follow \u2013 is down to the bankers, who are extremely selfish, greedy and foolish enough to worry solely about who has the biggest Learjet. A bunch of chimpanzees with loaded shotguns. Central bankers are also largely to blame; they\u2019re far cleverer than the donkeys at the private banks, but, guided by their liberal dogmatism, they\u2019ve neglected their regulatory and supervisory mandates. And as a solid structure cannot stand without at least three legs, society \u2013 or a significant section of it \u2013 whose childishness and irresponsibility have led them to take on financial commitments that would allow them to satisfy their consumerist whims without having the genuine means to do so. Look how they\u2019re being blamed:<\/p>\n
