This charitable venture, which we launched as a blog a year ago, has become one of our greatest sources of satisfaction. Over the past 12 months, we have helped hundreds of enquiries by email<\/a> which have, in most cases, led to telephone conversations that have undoubtedly been very useful and beneficial.<\/div>\n
Now that we have spent a year journeying alongside our readers, we would like to take this opportunity to look back by way of revival<\/span> a few articles from exactly a year ago. Obviously, not all of them will still be relevant, but we enjoy the challenge of looking back and re-reading the reflections and recommendations we offered 12 months earlier. We genuinely believe it can be instructive for everyone, including ourselves, of course. In fact, if we do this re-read with other articles by analysts and advisers, generally most of the texts stand the test of time very, very poorly. Give it a go and you\u2019ll see; sometimes it\u2019s even bittersweet<\/span> when it comes to financial advice. We also find it very interesting to read through your comments again ad hoc<\/span>, even though there might not have been any back then (perhaps there weren\u2019t even many readers :)), as this philanthropic blog that we put together together day by day belongs essentially to everyone and is for everyone. For this reason, we believe your current comments and feedback on the reflections we shared 12 months ago will also be very interesting.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>In this first revival<\/span>, we reflected on the importance of starting to invest and plan the long-term growth of our wealth at an early age. The sooner, the better. Furthermore, exactly a year ago we also warned of the dangers of excessive personal debt. Today, no one can fail to recognise the devastating consequences that such debt has had on individuals and the global economy.<\/p>\n
