It\u2019s a piece in which we denounce what, from our point of view, amounts to a commodification (whether authorised by legal royalties or not) of the concept of Financial Independence as popularised by the well-known Kiyosaki.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rankia.com\/blog\/familyoffice\/uploaded_images\/lobocordero1-777407.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 361px; height: 219px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rankia.com\/blog\/familyoffice\/uploaded_images\/lobocordero1-777355.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>Citigroup, through its array of ad hoc companies (CitiFin, CitiSolutions, etc.), launched a very aggressive campaign some time ago to recruit amateur salespeople eager to attract clients. These are practices which we describe in this article as \u2018wolves in sheep\u2019s clothing\u2019, designed to maximise corporate and intermediary profits under the guise of ensuring the future personal well-being of their clients\/prey. And all of this bears the stamp of the <a href=\"http:\/\/richdadclub.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RichDad philosophy<\/a> since it makes use of its licence to operate, but completely distorts it by turning it into banking services. The application of network marketing, moreover, sadly perverts it.<\/p>\n<p>As we\u2019ve already mentioned in the article, perhaps our friend Robert Kiyosaki should take action on this matter, because I find it hard to believe that the payment of royalties \u2013 however substantial they may be \u2013 makes up for his complicity.<\/p>\n<p>May the quest for financial independence rest in peace if it has to be achieved through our banks.
